OK it’s Rant O’Clock

I just tried using the https://www.scunthorpetheatres.co.uk website.

I know that most of you will never have the need to use this, but it is run by SMG, who manage many theatres in Europe. I would assume that many people use their sites.

Their site is a complete mess so I told them so:

Your signup process is shocking, the find address function is very flawed and does not work, when you submit and there is a problem the form loses entries and this should not happen. I would suggest that you get a better content management system.

I reckon someone should sell them a decent Content management system that doesn’t use ASP.

I just looked and their site was build by Mando Group, who proudly use Sharepoint, aaarrrrrggggggghhhhhhh.
